Samye Dharma Practise Group – Grahamstown

We offer weekly Mindfulness practise, which is a non-religious form of meditation on Wednesday evenings at 18:00. This year Jane has also been holding “Mindfulness Days” one Saturday a month. These are catered, one day guided mediation retreats held on a beautiful farm just outside Grahamstown.

Those with a more specifically Buddhist inclination may be interested in joining our regular Chenrezig puja once a week. Then, four of us have begun Akong Rinpoche’s “Taming the Tiger” series of exercises in preparation for a Nongro course, which will begin later this year. Three of us have also embarked on Ken Holmes’ dharma study course, although we are each pursuing this as self study on our own.
